I believe creating art is an act of faith and learning to "get out of the way" and submit to the creative process is a continual committment. My work reflects the connection between spiritual energy, earthly life, and creative power.

BIO:
Pam Jersey Bird's art career has been as diverse as her paintings. With a BA degree in Art Education she spent many years working as an Art Museum Educator and an art teacher. For five years she participated as an artist-in-residence in California and Oregon schools. Early in her art career she worked in advertising and graphic design. Retired from full time teaching, Bird spends her time now working in her studio but continues teaching community college classes and art workshops.
