MARTA BATHA
Marta Batha received her formal training at Long Beach State College, home to one of the largest art colleges in California; Oregon State University with a BS in art and the University of Oregon with work towards a master. She received a teaching degree and taught at the local high school level and during the summer months at OSU. She has also taken workshops from artists she has admired.

Her medium is oil and watercolor. She paints landscapes, horses and people in an impressionistic style. Her work has been featured on the cover of A@E and has been chosen for posters for horse events.

Batha says: "I like to paint the life force in all things, whether it be a rock, person or animal."
